What HIM Scale Builder stores and sends.

Browser storage

The app uses browser storage to remember local app state, including:

• the saved Gumroad license key entered on this browser;
• a server-signed entitlement token and activation/validation timestamps;
• the latest completed MP3 capture in IndexedDB when available;
• local QA checklist state if you use the QA checklist page.

You can clear this data through your browser's site-data controls for this site. Clearing it may require re-entering your Gumroad license key.

License activation

When you activate Founding Edition, the entered license information is sent to a same-origin Netlify Function. That server function contacts Gumroad to verify the purchase and returns a signed entitlement for this browser.

Gumroad and Netlify may process ordinary transaction, request, hosting, security, and log data as part of providing those services. This page does not replace their own policies.

Audio and practice data

HIM Scale Builder does not upload microphone audio from your singing. The app does not use pitch detection or recording input.

Generated MP3 capture is created in the browser from the app's own playback output. A completed capture may be stored locally in IndexedDB so the same browser can offer the latest matching download again.

Analytics and advertising

The app currently does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts.
